Topic 9: The Biology of Gender and Age

Guest lecturer Jonathan Racster talked to the class about the biological, genetic, and hormonal components of gender, and human development from conception to death.  Professor Schramer gave an overview of the history of gender in the visual arts, then introduced artists who work with themes of gender, transgender, the politics of gender, and aging.
