Topic 3: The Body After Death
CSCC anatomy professor Eric Kenz visited the classroom at CCAD and gave an overview of the history of autopsy, embalming, and medical cadaver study. Professor Schramer introduced the students to contemporary artists working with themes of mortality and death, and the body's existence after death. Professor Kenz then escorted the class to the Columbus State Community College Anatomy Lab, where the students viewed their first cadavers.
