Sketchbook Project

Students are required to keep a sketchbook, and work in it regularly, all semester.  They are encouraged to choose a single theme or project and adhere to it.



Darien Fisher (Fall 2012)

For his sketchbook project, this student visited cemeteries in Columbus and imagined what the individuals buried there might have looked like.

Kailey Rinder (Fall 2012)

For her sketchbook project, Kailey drew a portrait of a Facebook friend every day.

Cailey Tervo (Fall 2012)

Cailey kept a blog where she posted daily digital drawings of "Fearsome Ladies of History".  Each drawing was accompanied by text that described the woman's contribution to our culture.  You can view Cailey's blog at: http://fearsomeladies.tumblr.com/
