I am currently an assistant professor of fashion design and teach tailoring, patternmaking, specialty design, and fashion history.  I earned a BS from The Ohio State University in 1987 and a Masters in Design from University of Cincinnati in 2003.  Before coming to CCAD in 2012, I was an associate professor of fashion merchandising at the Art Institute of Ohio.  I have authored supplemental fashion textbook materials for Prentice Hill and was a contributing author to The Men’s Fashion Reader, A History of Men’s Fashion.  Fairchild Publishing, 2008.  I have also reviewed work for Laurence King Publishing and have been a freelance bridal designer since 2005.
