Geryon
The Monster of Fraud from Dante's Inferno (originally from Greek mythology). Winged beast depicted with a scaly, colorful body, the paws of a lion, a stinger at the tip of its tail, and the face of an honest man. My design of this creature takes inspiration from hyenas, large felines, crocodilians, primates and gorgonopsids, as well as ancient Greek sculpture and depictions of animals and monsters in European Gothic and early Renaissance art.
