Warm & Cool Still Life

This assignment allows students the opportunity to practice handling paint for the first time. They are limited to only 3 tubes of paint, Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Umber and Titanium White, which keeps color mixing simple but affords them a wide range of temperatures. They are encouraged to find and even exaggerate the warm and cool temperature shifts.
