The Watercolor on Plaster series grows out of my investigations into surface texture in oil painting and an "modified fresco" problem that I assign in my watercolor class.The food packaging paintngs are just plays with Trompe L'oiel and 3-D paintings.

I also constructed some cast plaster pieces in both a disaster series, working title "Global Solutions" and a series of "Homages" to contemporary artists, like Johns, Stella and Indiana.
